This webinar will explore the issue of weight stigma within healthcare settings, highlighting how negative beliefs about higher-weight individuals can affect patient care. Participants will learn practical steps for reducing stigma in healthcare practices.

This webinar will address the physical and neurological signs and symptoms of eating disorders, ranging from positive findings on review of symptoms to common psychiatric and neurocognitive manifestations of excess energy intake, dietary restriction or weight loss, and purging. We will review Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine criteria for assessing malnutrition and options for management of physical and psychiatric complications.
