Youth Mental Health First Aid  

Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training course teaching adults to recognize signs of mental health and substance use challenges, provide initial support using the ALGEE action plan (Assess, Listen, Give reassurance, Encourage professional help, Encourage self-help), and connect individuals to appropriate resources, promoting early intervention and recovery. Courses focus on adults, youth, or teens, using real-world scenarios and emphasizing hope, resilience, and cultural relevance.
