Some F.Y.I. on I.C.I.'s: An Overview of Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors

November 3, 2025 12:00pm - November 3, 2025 1:00pm
Live Virtual

We will begin by discussing why this topic is important (i.e. immunotherapy is used in almost every solid tumor and is resulting in patients with cancer living longer in a more chronic care setting). We will review the mechanism of immunotherapy and how it works on cancer cells. We will then discuss the side effects associated with immunotherapy and general treatment strategies.

Presenter(s):

Samuel Snowaert, PharmD, BCOP, MBA
Covenant Cancer Care Center
