Reducing Re-traumatization for Unhoused Families: Introducing Trauma-informed Care

This webinar will take place over two non-consecutive days. 

Learners must successfully complete the full duration of this training on both days for credit.

  • April 16th: Day 1 (12:00 pm - 1:00 pm)
  • May 5th: Day 2 (12:00 pm - 1:00 pm)

This webinar will provide a brief overview of the presenter's research background with families experiencing homelessness and housing instability, with an eye on the role trauma plays in contributing to instability across the lifespan. Key terminology will be defined and an overview of the impact of trauma on health across the lifespan will be provided. Trauma-informed care principles will be described with examples of how each principles can be applied.
