The Implementing Collaborative Care with Perinatal Patients training is designed for practices that have completed the Implementing Collaborative Care (“Base Training”) and have completed the OB/GYN Practice Assessment with a determination that the practice is ready for implementation. The training is intended to help the medical provider, psychiatric consultant, behavioral health care manager, and other practice team members gain the foundational knowledge and skills for implementing CoCM with the perinatal population. After completing this activity, participants will be able to incorporate workflows and other operational techniques unique to Collaborative Care within their practice to address the behavioral health needs of the perinatal population with fidelity to the Collaborative Care Model. They will be able to implement the Behavioral Health Collaborative Care Model in their practices to address the behavioral health needs of the perinatal population.
