Impacts of Adverse Childhood Experience on the Individual and Health Care System

A session for providers on the adverse childhood impacts on the developing nervous system and body, the neuroscience to support these ideas, discussion on how we (the medical system) approach the human being and disease process, and how to consider alternative approaches to health care and management/collaboration with patients for more holistic and comprehensive health care solutions.
