Identifying and Addressing Anxiety in Primary Care (Enhancing Team Based Care 9/24-10/24)

September 13, 2024 11:00am - September 13, 2024 12:00pm
Live Virtual

Primary care is often the first stop for people experiencing symptoms of behavioral health conditions, including anxiety. In this presentation, participants will learn the difference between stress and anxiety, how to identify somatic symptoms that may have roots in anxiety, and how to thoughtfully speak about anxiety and its impact. In addition, participants will receive information about effective, evidence-based screenings and interventions to use when working with patients with anxiety. We will address common myths about anxiety and leave time for questions.
