Facilitating with Confidence and Impact - A Practical Approach For PDCM Trainers

This live virtual training will take place over two non-consecutive days.  

Learners must successfully complete the full duration of this training on both days for credit.

Tuesday, January 21st; 4pm to 5pm
Tuesday, January 28th; 4pm to 5pm

Participating in this virtual professional development two-part series will increase participant knowledge and ability regarding facilitation skills including various aspects such as setting guidelines, maintaining neutrality, engaging participants through open ended questions, role play, and providing relevant case studies as well as time management to ensure learning objectives are covered. Participants will;

  • Engage in activities that further develop their facilitation skills
  • Critically engage with facilitation approaches and gain increased appreciation and skills in facilitation of trainings and translation into activities such as clinical supervision, action learning
  • Test their personal facilitation skill development through structured practice
  • Engage in evaluation of individual effectiveness as a facilitator
