Clinical Updates in T2D Management
This webinar provides a big picture, team-based overview of type 2 diabetes management in outpatient primary care. Using ADA Standards of Care as a framework, the session will cover diagnosis, recommended screening and monitoring, lifestyle and mental health considerations, medication management principles, and the growing role of tools such as continuous glucose monitoring. Through clinical vignettes and practical examples, the session will highlight how practice managers, nurses, and medical assistants play a critical role in identifying care gaps, supporting risk stratification, and improving follow up and care coordination. The goal is to help the entire care team better understand when to intervene and how operational workflows can support better diabetes outcomes.
