During the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Session, Care Managers will learn skills that they can use themselves or share with patients to help reduce stress. In addition, Wendy will be promoting her fall courses. NPO has new Care Managers who are not aware of MBSR, they will also learn how to refer patients to the course (NPO patients get a discount and if they cannot afford it, Wendy will work with them- 2 care managers can also attend for free. There are classes for teams and adults.)
During the PDCM Billing and Opportunities, we will be reviewing a PDCM report showing what codes are used most frequently by practices and then consider areas of opportunity and discuss process around the opportunities. APCM codes will also be on this report to help stimulate conversation around that and see how it's going. Last, we will review when it is appropriate and when it is not appropriate to utilize PDCM phone codes. This question came up from an NPO practice.
